SxSW Class Details

S

I have been taking students to the SxSW conference for the past 5 years and I’m excited to go again this year! I’m writing this post to document some of the details for students interested in taking the class. I’ll bullet them out for clarity. There are two required F2F meetings during the quarter. One close to the midterm and the other right before we go. Exact dates and times...

Migrations

M

Migrations are a natural phenomenon and I’m starting to wonder if migrating to IoT is in our nature. Below are some migrations I’ve witnessed recently and some thoughts on what it will take to get the IoT migration underway. (Disclaimer: I want one.) It makes sense for the following reasons. Cars are made of electronics – Back in the day, a person could fix there car if there was a problem because cars were...

Samsung’s display centric world (video)

S

Corning created their A day made of Glass video two years ago and now Samsung has created a video demonstrating their vision of the future. I can see having a smart watch and AR enabled glasses, not sure about the rest of this. Some of it feels disposable, which we are headed towards and I’m not a huge fan of that. Enjoy!
