SxSW with Daniels College of Business (video)

S

I’ve been taking students to SxSW since 2015 and was fortunate enough to have @scullymon, amazing videographer/world-class skier/entrepreneur in my class and asked him to record the SxSW experience. I was going his video as promotional material but ended up not needing it. Word of mouth is a powerful force and my class for 2020 is at 61 students! Enjoy!

This March I’ll be taking graduate/undergraduate students to SxSWi for the third year. (Last year I had 46 students, with zero arrests!) If you’ve been to SxSW before, you understand how intense the event can be. If you haven’t been, it’s like a rapid dive into the deep end of the pool that has you feeling like you know very little about what’s going on in the world...

SXSW Day 2: Forget Loyalty, Build Habits

S

My second day was a good one. I went to see the session entitled Forget Loyalty, Build habits with the VP/Digital for Julep Beauty, @lesliefeinzaig. Leslie is a gamer and has a gaming background so she has had some experience with building habits. Her goal with Julep is to create habits for influencers and as she said, “information is their social currency”. This information helps the...
