Bing is gaining on Google

Mashable recently posted about Bing gaining ground on Google and I can’t help but wonder if it’s because Bing search is featured on Facebook. With 33% of all US Internet users on Facebook throughout the day (10% internationally), it’s hard to imagine that users aren’t leaving to go to Google to perform searches. Why not just stay here! With the imminent release of Facebook’s own search, we may be seeing the shift in the behavior that Facebook is hoping for; people searching from Facebook.
