Mondays at Red Rocks

Every Monday morning, for the past three years, I head up to Red Rocks and do the following exercise regimen.

Red Rocks in Winter

  1. From the bottom to top of the seats – 68 rows – with no stopping, right leg only.
  2. Bottom to top of the seats, no stopping, left leg only.
  3. Bottom to top of the seats, no stopping, right leg only.
  4. Bottom to top of the seats, no stopping, left leg only.
  5. Row 17 to top of the seats, no stopping, right leg only.
  6. Row 17 to top of seats, no stopping, left leg only.

  7. Walk down to row ~54.
  8. Do 4 sets of 70 lunges across row 54.

  9. Go to the bottom of the stairs on the north side of the seats.
  10. Alternating between right & left, two stairs at a time, walk to the top of the stairs. No stopping.

Do this and you’ll be ready for boarding and/or cycling season. It’s amazing.
