Convential Wisdom

Conventional wisdom, when it comes to blogging, states that you shouldn’t allow for comments until your traffic hits “a certain level”. (The premise is that if people come to the site and see a bunch of posts with no comments; the site is a dead site.) My site traffic has not reached this level yet AND I’ve never been a hardcore fan of conventional wisdom. I also understand that blogs are conversational and by not allowing comments, I’m not embracing what the internet has become. So, today I’ll start allowing for comments on my posts until conventional wisdom hunts me down and clubs me, or I get really great comments. We will see.
