I’ll be honest with you. I didn’t know who Syd Mead was until he died on December 30th. And now I see that he was responsible for the design work on Tron, Blade Runner and Alien. Holy crap! This is a small bit of a documentary about him, which I can’t find anywhere other than something called a “d . . . v . . . d”. Anyway . . . enjoy!
Iggy Pop (@iggypopofficial) is the Johnny Cash of punk rock. Period. His work with The Stooges, starting in 1967, set the stage for The Ramones, The Sex Pistols, et al. This documentary, which is currently on Prime Video, is amazing. Even if you’re not a fan of the man or punk rock, it’s worth watching.
